Roles and Responsibilities

Gather relevant data from diverse sources, including Salesforce Instances, Oracle databases, and Excel Spreadsheets.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability through meticulous data cleaning and validation processes.
Document existing data models from Salesforce instances and other systems.
Interpret and document mappings between current and new data models.
Propose changes to data models for optimisation and adherence to standards.
Utilise statistical techniques, data mining, and visualisation tools to analyse and interpret data.
Identify trends, patterns, and valuable insights within the datasets.
Create comprehensive reports, presentations, and dashboards to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Work closely with business stakeholders, team members, and data scientists to address queries and understand analytical requirements.
Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the efficacy of business strategies and initiatives.
Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA.
Identify opportunities for process enhancement and automation to streamline and improve data analysis efficiency.
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to contribute to the decision-making process.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis.

Required Skills & Capabilities

Overall 12+ Years of Experience
Relevant postgraduate qualification with significant experience.
Extensive experience in data analysis within Higher Education, particularly with Salesforce and Oracle.
Proficiency in analysing large datasets using statistical concepts and tools.
Ability to visually present data using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
Strong understanding of SQL and/or Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address data-related challenges.
Effective communication to convey insights and collaborate with stakeholders.
